Rosalyn Gunter (Claimant) appeals from an order of the Workers Compensation Appeal Board (Board) affirming the decision of the Workers Compensation Judge (WCJ) dismissing her claim for benefits and request for imposition of penalties under the Pennsylvania Workers Compensation Act (Act). Claimant filed a claim petition alleging that she was injured in an attack in the course of her employment as a police officer for the City of Philadelphia (Employer) together with a penalty petition asserting that Employer unilaterally ceased paying compensation. Employer denied the allegations of the claim and the penalty petitions.
